Review of Constantine (2005) by Tero T — 29 May 2011
I couldn't help it being offended by the bad reviews of that movie, which in my opinion offers more than it promises.
First of all,the script of course isn't the best ever, but for a script based on comic book series, which combines Matrix,The Exorcist and Van Helsing,is very good.
Also the performance of Keanu Reeves is really nice.
As always he is a tragic character who is supposed to save the world and fix his life and as always he manages to do it.
Although in that movie he wasn't so original,he still manages to make it worth watching, when someone else would probably drown the whole thing.
And as for the special effects I must say just that I'm impressed.
In summary,I think that Constantine, even with a few errors, manages to become a movie that everyone who knows a thing or two will enjoy.
