Review of Constantine (2005) by David S — 29 May 2012
Constantine has an interesting basis that twists the gospels of Heaven, Hell and all involved. It can be somewhat of a guilty pleasure, especially with the comedic methods of inter-world travel and weapons used.
However, it has good acting (yes, including Keanu Reeves), half-decent CGI that doesn't go over the top, and a Lucifer that steals the show. Peter Stormare, although on screen for a brief possible 15 minutes, unquestionably steals the attention.
A brilliant actor for a brilliantly done role. Constantine is very much a guilty pleasure.
