A guilty pleasure as Keanu Reeves plays a noirish detective who also sidelines on paranormal cases. The angel Gabriel (a wonderful Swinton) is surprisingly up to no good, and somebody's got to stop her before .
.. wait for it ... the end of the world. Weisz competently fills in the bill as the girl in danger.
