Of The 5 Movies Of The Original Franchise This Is My 2nd Favourite After The First One. Roddy McDowall Really Plays His Part As Caesar (Having Played Caesar's Father Cornelus In The 1st & 3rd Movie) & When You Consider The Timing Of This Movie, You Can Read So Much In To The Political & Social Commentary Being Made Throughout The Movie. I Really Liked How They Turned Caesar's Character From A Freedom Fighter To A Revenge Seeker.
Would Have Preferred The Original Violent Ending As You Can Tell It Doesn't Make Sense In Terms Of What Caesar Says At The End To Whats Happening On Screen.
Can't Help But Think That Michael Jackson Must Have Got Some Inspiration For The Thriller Video From The Scenes When Caesar Is Leading The Apes Against The Authorities.
