It is beyond me why Michael Crichton was/is such a popular author. It sucks, because of his popularity and Jurassic Park's massive success (which had very little to do with him) we got to see a bunch of terrible movies.
Frank Marshall (who seems to be an excellant producer) directs this film and doesn't stand a chance. He gives the film B-movie vibe that is laughably bad at times.
