I am not sure how confident I am that the final mark shouldn't have been able to see through the con, especially because he knows the con artists pulled the same con on a mark at the beginning of the movie.

But since the Sting I have loved movies about pulling the big con, although Confidence did not have hearly the humor or the dazzle of the Sting or the poignancy of The Grifters, another favorite of mine in the con genre.

But certainly this is a serviceable con movie that does keep you guessing throughout.
