Review of Confidence (1933) by Alec B — 28 Apr 2008
Dustin Hoffman has quirky down to a solid art. Ed Burns is a little monotone in this one, but classy and likable. A story too complicated for general viewers makes this one a diamond in the rough. I like the nouveau film noir atmosphere to this one, and I wish there were more like it.
