Review of Confetti (2006) by Ian L — 22 Jul 2009
With every scene feeling like an introduction into some kind of situation comedy club, you'd understandably expect a lot from this film.
Unfortunately, your expectations are unlikely to be matched as the film fails to equal the sum of its parts. Feeling instead like a rather second rate Richard Curtis film, (hard to imagine but it exists here), managing to lack Curtis' calculated emotional manipulation without the shock value of Sacha Baron Cohen or the zombie next door low budget charm of Shaun of the Dead.
Another disappointment, must try harder.
