Review of Concussion (2015) by Aaron D — 27 Dec 2015
Will Smith gives a stellar performance as the doctor who discovers CTE in football players and all the challenges that discovery causes for him. This has got to be one of the best Will Smith performances in quite awhile and the supporting cast is quite good too.
I enjoyed the movie and found the it very interesting even though I am not the biggest football fan. This does raise a lot of questions and doesn't really have any answers but I think that is kind of the point.
It can be an extremely depressing and slow watch for some and I don't see much replayabilty but this will have Smith in talks for best actor come oscar time for sure. Worth a watch at least once.
