Review of Concussion (2015) by Laura S — 09 Jan 2016
Will Smith did a fantastic job embodying this character. None of his actual persona came through...he was this doctor.
The film was very interesting..and it was great this doctor uncovered the issue with concussions. However, I don't think the topic of uncovering the pathology behind the disease and trying to get the NFL to own up to it was that great of a topic for a film. It is interesting, but it wasn't 'edge of your seat' interesting. Regardless, I think Will Smith should be nominated for an Oscar for his commitment to the character.
