Review of Conan the Barbarian (1982) by Prince B — 26 Oct 2009
"For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.".
The movie that made Arnold a star. He's well-suited to the role, and the film is great, capturing a mythical feeling as Conan is forged a warrior through trial and tragedy. James Earl Jones is excellent as antagonist Thulsa Doom, and his final confrontation with Conan is a great scene. It's a pity that the sequel falls so short of it's predecessor.
