Review of Conan the Barbarian (1982) by Alec B — 22 Sep 2010
A critic described this as "Star Wars directed by a psychopath". If that description doesn't do it for you, what the hell would you be watching a movie called "Conan the Barbarian" for anyway? One of the best examples of sword and sorcery fantasy films of its era with well cast non-actors or novices playing barbarians and such and one great actor playing one of the best villains of all time (That's two for two James Earl Jones-Darth Vader and here as Thusla Doom).
