Review of Conan the Barbarian (1982) by Mike M — 09 Jul 2013
A sword and sandal epic with more might than most - thanks in no small part to the powerful presence of a prime Arnold Schwarzenegger - Conan the Barbarian grows more enjoyable upon each viewing. Perhaps more gruesome than many remember (in a way only non-CG sequences can display) Conan is a fun, battle-filled slugfest with just the right amount of humor and extremely effective fantasy sequences.
Also a great musical score - and strong performances all around. Crom approves.
