Con Air was exhilarating. A true masterpiece of the action genre. Con Air is full of explosions, chases, thrills and hair.
Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and John Malkovich pull out all the stops in this genre defying classic. This film will have you on the edge of your seat, totally immersed in it's world and it's characters. Plot twists, great characters and visuals and especially when it was made. What was done with the budget and how great it all was, is truly the spectacle here.
Seeing as how it takes place, primarily, inside of a plane. It's truly amazing what is done. When the action gets going, you really get a connection with the characters and the music really does help set the scene sometimes.
It's just an all around good film that works. It's grand. It's two hours, but it'll zoom by so fast and you'll love every damn second of it.
