Review of Con Air (1997) by Ian C — 03 Jan 2015
Re-watch. Over the course of a week I witnessed the great man star in two really terrible films released in 2014 (Dying of the Light, Left Behind). I couldn't bring myself to watch a third (Outcast).
This led me to revisit this 90's classic. Please clear that tax bill soon. The lags are great Malkovich is menacing as Cyrus the Virus, Rhames as Diamond Dog and Danny Trejo as the sex case Johnny 23.
However, in between the explosive action it is Steve Buscemi who steals every single scene. M. C. Gaineyis the balls as Swamp Thing.
