A movie by nerds, for nerds, and boy is it glorious! It's a film set in the early 1980's, shot in the style of an early 1980's documentary. It's completely convincing and strangely compelling, despite its dull and obsolete subject matter - a computer chess tournament between computer programmers.
This character study takes some quirky and even bizarre turns as it progresses, but not once does it ever feel unnatural. An absolute must-see of 2013!
