Review of Compliance (2012) by Casey B — 13 Jan 2013

Compliance has its moments. Ann Dowd is pitch perfect throughout. However, the film doesn't always succeed at creating tension and is littered with mediocre performances. I'm not quite sure how to voice my primary criticisms wiith the film other than to say, it doesn't quite succeed at implicating the audience and dragging them into the filthiness of its character's actions.

Which seemed like the film's goal to me.
