Whilst watching it's possible to believe the events in Compliance are so awful they must've been exaggerated. Then to find out afterwards it's all genuine lends the story a terrible weight.
Horrifying gullibility on show. It makes for a brilliant example of psychological manipulation and the unquestioned following of authority. It's a very difficult watch but a well made one, and sure to make oneself consider how one would react in similar situations.
