Review of Coming to America (1988) by Matt M — 19 Jan 2013

A perfect vehicle for Eddie Murphy and his exuberant comedic talent, as in this film he plays the lead character of an African prince in America hiding his true identity and working in a fast food restaurant to find a woman to marry, but also playing some hilarious side characters.

The plot is quite simple but sets up some great gags and some surprising underlying sweetness.
