Review of Coming Home (1978) by Tim C — 02 Aug 2007
Jane Fonda won her second Oscar for playing a military wife who loves her husband who is fighting in Vietnam and Jon Voight's Oscar winning character who is a wounded veteran of the same war her husband is fighting in.
Really looks at what the Vietnam War was like for people here domestically. This film is somewhat controversial because of Fonda's anti-war actions in the 70s, but, if she didn't support the troops, she wouldn't have played this role and take part in this film's conception.
Really looks how America treats/treated those who have fought for this country.
