Review of Come Early Morning (2006) by Alana T — 05 Aug 2007
A fairly simple film that benefits from an incredible performance from Ashley Judd. This role genuinely gives her a chance to shine as someone who is not unlike everyone else. But it requires her such emotion to get through every day that we see new facets of Judd that have only been hinted at.
For first time director and writer, Joey Lauren Adams, it's a fine place to start and shows great potential for future work as a director if the performance she draws of Judd is any indicator.
