Ashley Judd does a terrific job in this film. I am not sure that it is very memorable but it is an easy film to watch. You are left with just the right amount of wondering about the past and hopeful for her future.
It isn't too candy coated, but not too graphic. It highlights living in the south and dealing with family issues on a daily basis. It is mostly realistic, with a very possible outcome.
