Watching this, I realize how much it influenced my interests and my writing. I see now why I was drawn to reading Asimov, Heinlein & Clarke just a few years later. It doesn't need SFX to deliver its punch.
A wonderful reminder of SF thrillers & intelligent disaster flicks the likes of which aren't seen anymore. I'll take this over robots whirling so fast they make ones eyes bleed.
