Review of Colossus: The Forbin Project (1970) by Paul C — 17 Mar 2012
Odd but interesting sci-fi which eschews special effects and explosions for a more subtle and infinitely more terrifying approach to the genre. Braeden is cool and unruffled as the scientist who invents a war-hating super computer (before shooting himself in the foot with a nuke or two) while the mostly set-bound action is held together by Sargent's capable direction.
Dotty but deep.
