A strange quirky movie with a good cast and some amusing moments. Glaring potholes aside....it is a nice little excursion befoe the deluge of summer movies. Anne Hathaway is...well....Anne Hathaway. Her performance is about whatd you expect but far from her best but the rple doesnt really stretch her abilities.
Jason Sudekis has more to do than his typical roles with a modicum of success but I also wouldnt say its outstanding. That may be why the deeper meaning of the movie eluded me or that it was just overridden by my interest in the kaiju.
