Movie Review.

The movie "Colombiana" was produced August 26, 2011 and directed by Olivier Megaton. The lead role is played by Zoe Saldana playing Cataleya, she won a Teen choice award and an ALMA for outstanding actress in feature film. Other main characters are Danny (boyfriend), Ross (special agent), Emilio, Marco, and Don Luis (all 3 bad guys).

This movie starts out in Bogota as Cataleya as a school girl and her parents are being murdered in front of her and she has to run away from the bad guys that killed her parents. Than she's older living in Chicago with her uncle and grandma and she become an assassin working her way up to kill the people that killed her parents.

This movie really shows women independence and how women can take care of them self's and they don't need a guy to protect them, and it really shows how women can do a lot for themselves, minus the whole killing and violence part. It also shows you that women need to be strong because men usually look at women as weak. I think this movie deserves the 6/10 stars because it really shows you women are strong and how things happen, but you have to be strong.

I really liked the story of revenge and the loyalty she had for her family, because I am really loyal to my family, to me family is everything, so I really liked the story line of her fighting for her family and getting that revenge back.
