This movie took a beating by movie critics ... the same critics that tend to overanalyze movies, somehow failed to even grasp the foundational elements of this amazing movie. From the reviews I read, critics seemed to have placed expectations on this movie which were never intended, the most basic of which .

.. this is not a typical "feel good movie," but for those willing, it is much much better. For those who have lost loved ones, this movie will drive home the beaut that you were able to experience with your loved one .

.. whether t at was a year, or a hundred. Plus it does an excellent job of reminding everyone to more greatly appreciate "the now" and look for beauty in all situations. Ever one who takes the time to not only watch, but think about, t is movie, should walk away with an altered perspective of their everyday lives .
