Review of Collateral Beauty (2016) by Dawn E — 15 Mar 2017
Brilliantly conceived. I saw the critics reviews and am not surprised. The critics were deviously and predictably transparent in their judgement. They obviously went into the theatre with a disbolical notion to find flaws.
Our society has become so desensitized to emotional gander that it is utterly hard to distinguish true intro and retrospect of the very nature of life. This was a very skillful and artistic display of the very fabric of our emotional composition.
The loss of a child is one of the, if not the most greatest pain we can encounter. The setting around the holidays was brilliant as it carries the notion of family and magic and hope that only which something so tragic as a loss of a child could cascade into a dark abyss of depression and sadness.
Healing. We do not do it alone, that is a key factor that is demonstrated with such brilliance. The actors bring emotion to life in a creatively yet systematic release of truth. We all fall down to the tragedies of life and most times we must lose and be lost in order to be found and to find that beauty does exist even in suffering.
THE CRITICS GOT THIS WRONG...VERY VERY WRONG...AND ARE OBVIOUSLY SO DESENSITIZED TO THE CORE OF OUR HUMAN EMOTION. THEY FAILED THIS MOVIE...THE MOVIE IS REMARKABLY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY BRILLIANT!!
