Review of Collateral Beauty (2016) by Lyndsay T — 29 Mar 2017
From the time I watched the previews to finally seeing it, I knew this would provoke a large volume of emotion considering I have a daughter. From my own personal love for my child, I knew watching a story of a parent struggling with the death of a child would be like watching my own biggest fear.
The movie played into capturing the thing I wish she knew most (how much I love her), how much I can't wait to watch her grow (time), and my biggest fear, any parents' biggest fear, the death of myself or her.
It's just an emotion-grabbing film and I enjoyed the cry and realized this truly can happen to anyone. Love your children and spend time with them for we do not know when death will come and for whom it will come for.
