Review of Collateral (2004) by Dave L — 16 Jul 2011
In Michael Mann's finest work since Heat, Tom Cruise hits his peak as an actor as a stone cold hitman who justifies his profession. Jaime Foxx should have won supporting actor as cab driver in the wrong plce at wrong time.
With masterfully coreographed action scenes and spectacular supporting performances by Mark Ruffalo as Detective investigating and Javier Bardem as Ruthless drug lord, Collateral is a must see. Also great soundtrack featuring music from Audioslave.
a clinic on how a cat and mouse action movie should be made.
