Review of Collateral (2004) by Lovro H — 28 Jul 2015
This is the second time I'm seeing Tom Cruise as the villain. He really doesn't like doing villain roles, does he? So, this is a thriller/action movie about an assassin hiring a taxi driver to drive him to all of his 5 targets in one night.
The driver feels very bad for what he's doing and tries to escape in several different ways, but he always ends up by Vincent's side. It's a very intense movie. There are a few scenes where you don't know what might happen, the ending especially.
The ending is very emotional and powerful. The acting was great! Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx are amazing. Tom Cruise is sometimes very frightening, though at a few times he even does some humour. Jamie Foxx plays a scared, innocent taxi driver.
He's really good in it, and his characters develops quite a lot from the beginning to the end. The action in the movie is really fun, especially that club scene. The soundtrack is great! All in all, this is an excellent movie with amazing performances and a great story with a very powerful ending.
I would really recommend checking this movie out!
