Review of Cold Souls (2009) by Richard B — 12 Feb 2010
This film, which stars Paul Giamatti as Paul Giamatti, was pretty out there, but was fairly entertaining and funny at times. It will definitely get a lot of comparisions to the works of Charlie Kaufman, but honestly it is not nearly as good as the majority of his work.
The acting is pretty solid and the script has a great idea, but does not do tons with it. I did like the last 15 minutes or so as it picked up the pace and I also liked the ending. Overall a pretty solid movie that is a little slow at times and does use it's great concept to the fullest potential, but still an enjoyable film.
