Review of Cold Souls (2009) by Elliot R — 05 Mar 2010
An attempted Being John Malkovich meets Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind but not as funny or inspired. However, a great performance by Paul Giamatti. Don't get me wrong, its a good film with an interesting premise and thought provoking subject matter, but b/c of the similarities to the previously mentioned films, I can't help but compare it to them, and it falls short.
Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine are much better films,this one is decent in its own right, but falls short next to those two.
