Review of Cold Pursuit (2019) by Tynantragic — 26 Aug 2019

Thought this movie was great. I went in expecting the type of movie nic cage / jon travolta / antonio banderas are putting out these days; just revenge schlock for streaming services, and I was pretty bummed for neeson.

But, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Fast moving, with great characters that were flushed out very quickly. It seemed like they were able to give each character just enough screen time to make him or her likable.

And a nice satisfying, if not overly original, ending. Bottom line, great fun that didn't have to sacrifice its cleverness to be a success.
