Review of Cold in July (2014) by Sarfaraz A — 03 Nov 2014
Jim's thriller drama brings chilling factors to its superb cinematography. Set in late 1980s in Texas - Michael C. Hall is woken up by a burglar in the mid of the night, whom he shoots in cold blood. Now the victim's father has returned from prison, and wants a revenge for his son.
After Michael recognizes a photo at a police-station, he believes the victim whom he killed is different than the person whose photo is glued to a board of 'Most-Wanted'. Michael joins Sam to find out the truth.
A tense drama, filled with brisk performance from Sam Shepherd. Do watch this if you love tense thriller films.
