Review of Code Unknown (2000) by Simon G — 03 Jun 2008
Michael Haneke shows once again why he's one of my favourite current director and writers. After the disturbing Funny Games and the thought provoking Cache I thought I'd give some of his earlier work a look.
Glad I did, very, very interesting movie and one that will require more than one viewing to take it all in. Juliette Binoche is her usual top notch self and the story (although told in a very non-linear way) is engaging from the start.
the Piano Teacher is next on the list.
