Review of Code Unknown (2000) by Cory B — 05 Dec 2010
I liked '71 Fragments' a lot better (because it actually had an ending that the whole movie built up to)... alas, I did enjoy a lot of the storylines and characters, and it wasn't too hard to follow.
I love the topics Haneke likes to put under the microscope. He's the only living director who directs 'still-life' films... he's perhaps the most stylish director currently making films.
I could tied up more nicely, but as I look to the title for answers, it only talks back and says: Incomplete Tales of Several Journeys... well, whatever. Wasn't expecting the first part to literally mean 'characters in the film forget their codes' though.
Could have made more sense, but enjoyable nonetheless... only have to finish The Castle and Time of the Wolf and I'll be caught up with Haneke!
