Review of Code Unknown (2000) by Raül J — 13 Sep 2008
Not known as the strongest Haneke but I was again very impressed. Related to Caché in its themes, very layered and escapes easy analysis. Places racial issues in the context of other, more personal problems and makes racial tensions thereby less special.
That is my take on it now, could change with a second viewing.
