Review of Cocoon (1995) by Jeff B — 01 Jun 2009
Wonderful film from Ron Howard about some old people at a retirement home who stumble across a pool used by aliens that happens to be a fountain of youth. Very sweet and well made, I loved the whole cast (though I'm confused why Don Ameche was singled out for the Oscar).
It probably would have been better with so much of the Steve Guttenberg story, but oh well. It's an overall good film and worth watching.
