There aren't a lot of actresses with the class and grace of Audrey Tatou, so its no wonder she shares the name of the legendary Audrey Hepburn. Her collaborations with director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Amelie and A Very Long Engagement, remain touching modern classics, and its great to see her finally bounce back from the suckiness that was The Da Vinci Code.
Tatou portray fashion designer and icon Coco Chanel, but this isn't standard bio-pic movie-making. Taout plays Coco at a very specific point in her life, and through that, allows the woman who revolutionized the way women dressed, to shine through.
Tatou is the real deal.
