Review of Coco Before Chanel (2009) by John B — 31 May 2010
This is a fine movie for someone who isn't me. It starts out interestingly enough, with some actual insight into how Chanel may have experienced her world. But midway through it turns into a love story, at which time she becomes a generic "woman," rather than a specific character.
It lost me then, and never got me back.
