Review of Cockneys vs Zombies (2012) by Sarfaraz A — 10 Feb 2013
Cockneys vs Zombies British zombie film directed by Matthias Hoene and written by James Moran and Lucas Roche.
Set in London. At the site of construction a 17th Century graveyard is found, from where zombies set out for the metropolitan London's East End. Somewhere in the center of the city cockney criminals are robbing a bank so to save their grandfather's retirement home from being demolished by property developers. These cockneys must face the growing zombies to reach to their grandfather who is himself protecting his aged friends living inside his home.
We have had so many zombie-films that we kinda feel joyous to receive itsy-bitsy pictures coming out often and then - some leave us happy others disappoint us. However, in case of this movie, I would like to say that the movie is neither good nor bad. It kills the only good character in the film that we feel, might have contributed great deal towards its end. Watchable, not bad!
