Review of Cobra Verde (1987) by Gustav R — 07 Jun 2007
This is a pretty meandering movie, especially in the last half or so. The cinematography is great, like in all the other Herzog movies I've seen, but I can only take so many shots of African rituals before I get bored.
Klaus Kinski is awesome, as usual, but I didn't think his character was as developed as in 'Fitzcarraldo' or 'Aguirre...'.
