Action movies these days are missing what classics like "Cobra" bring to the table. It has that 80's element which I prefer in most films, and I guess you could call it "cheese", but isn't that entertainment needs? If we wanted pure realism, why would we watch a movie in the first place?
Stallone does what he does/did best - portray a cool, cold, rebel cop: a role he's revisited on more than one occasion.
