Review of Cobra (1986) by Stephen S — 25 Oct 2011
We get it...he's supposed to be badass...that's why he wears the stupid sunglasses all the time. Cobra has a cool plot, but an average cast, and an unintelligible lead actor in the form of Sylvester Stallone.
Everything in this film is ridiculously heavy handed, as if the writers expected the audience to be as mentally deficient as Stallone sounds every time he opens his mouth to talk. The only thing that saves this from being amazingly bad is the massive showdown/gunfight at the end with the gang that's actually pretty damn entertaining.
Aside from that, the rest of the film blows.
