Review of Coal Miner's Daughter (1980) by Tyler M — 07 Jun 2007
Probably the best music biopic out there. Sissy Spacek is great, and her singing's good, too, and Tommy Lee Jones is just bad-ass, like always. The cliches of this kind of movie are here, but the acting, in addition to above-average camera work, make it better than the rest.
