Coach carter is one of my favorite sports films made due to how inspiring it is along with a spot on performance by samuel l jackson. it has a classic under-dog story line like most sports films, but it brings something new and fresh to the table mainly because of the great acting by jackson and the other co-stars.
the overall message is good and it felt like you were watching a true story in action. a great basketball movie that is inspiring and has a lot of meaning and life lessons along the way.
