Review of Clueless (1995) by Nguyen Thuy H — 13 Feb 2015
The 1990s saw a flux of films that focus on the effect of modern consumption on the individual. But arguably, none of them can surpass the sweet heart of Clueless. Amy Heckerlings has a talent for weaving together countless pop culture references into a most solid piece of coming-of-age entertainment and Clueless treats its teenage characters with utmost understanding.
It's the classic case of a confrontational piece disguised as mere chick-flick.
