Review of Club Dread (2004) by Aaron R — 03 Sep 2007
I normally don't like Broken Lizard films as much as the classic Abrams/Zucker films, mostly because I have to pay a little closer attention to the silly fratboy humor and quick lines of the BL boys.
Of their 3 movies that I've seen, "Club Dread" is the worst and seemingly least-least inspired, but it's still a funny, good time. I love Bill Paxton. He's just...incredible. As for the rest of this movie, it varies in quality throughout.
Brittany Daniel and lots of hot girls if you're looking for that sort of thing. A solid film, but by far not BL's best effort.
