Review of Clown (2014) by Bill M — 02 Mar 2015

A great little old school splatterfest, Clown is like the old, play ground legend movies like Child's Play, IT or A Nightmare On Elm Street, films you where never aloud to see as a kid. It's a got a darkly amusing nightmare concept, a family man fills in for a no-show birthday clown for his son after finding a costume in an old box, but he cant take it off and as the costume starts to fuse with his body, he begins to turn into a demonic killer with an appetite for children.

But the concept is surprisingly never played as the comedy horror you expect, and is instead a sombre, dark and nasty affair, albeit one sprinkled with plenty of sly black humor.
